After a teensy dry spell, there are quite a few happenings in the A Kind of Stories world. First of all, I received word that A Kind of Truth will be released on audio soon…as in very soon. Any day now. Woohoo! It’s a new series so the narrator will be new to me, but I’m excited to hear his rendition of Rand and Will’s story. 😉
Also, mark your calendars because A Kind of Romance will be available for pre-order at Dreamspinner Press on May 6 (Amazon to follow shortly after). That’s one week from today! And yes… the cover will finally be revealed! Book 2 in the series is not a rock and roll story. It’s more of a family story that touches on preconceived notions and stereotypes. You already may know it’s Benny’s story, but you’ll find out who the other MC is too. I’ll release a short story before A Kind of Romance is released on June 6, so you’ll get a chance to find out a little more about him then. 😉 And did I mention Book 3 will be out this fall? I’ve just entered the initial stage of editing and I’m beyond thrilled!
Speaking of stereotypes…I wrote a blog post today at Love Bytes regarding the “cowboy myth”. The notion any one should act or be a certain way based on skin color, sex or religion is unconscionably irresponsible thinking in a modern era. Media coverage of political yahoos telling us how to take back America is reckless and ridiculous. I won’t go much further or I’ll be here all day pontificating on the idiots with money looking for a spot in the White House. Ugh! Check out my post here.
