Better Than Pride… (A Short Story with Aaron & Matt from Better Than Good) Part 2-Mild NSFW

ImageHere is part 2! This one is mildly NSFW.  You know I like it more…explicit, shall we say, so to me this is tame.  But it’s best to warn, right?  A true NSFW is coming in the next part.  Look for it Friday 😉  Happy Reading xo Lane

Part 2:

A couple days later, I was in the guest room tuning my guitar in an effort to decompress from the extraordinarily stressful fourteen hour day I’d put in at work. I’d worked late finishing an important contract for a prolific senator who was pissed it wasn’t done yesterday. Of course, it wasn’t due to be completed until next week, but that was life in the big city. There was no point in complaining. This was what I’d signed up for when I joined a prestigious DC law firm as an associate last fall. I knew the days could be long and could often bleed into my weekends. It was simply a matter of staying sane and keeping my mind off the pile of work I still had waiting for me at my office in the morning. Music worked. Well, Aaron worked better, but he wasn’t home.

I heard his key in the door and smiled. As much as playing the guitar worked magic at times, it was a poor substitute to the man calling my name like he was making a grand entrance on his favorite sitcom.

“Yoohoo! Matty, I’m home!”

“In here—hey, you look hot,” I commented with a somewhat lecherous smile as he posed in the doorway with one hand on his hip and one on the doorjamb. He was wearing work clothes, slim fitted linen blend trousers and a pink Oxford shirt. His sleeves were rolled up and he had that end of day mussed look I found really fucking sexy on him.

He grinned in appreciation and gave me a once over before coming to sit across from me on the guest bedroom bed.

“So do you…except, you look tired.”

“I’m exhausted. Cooked. Toast. I got nothing left.”

“Oh baby,” he soothed running his fingers through my hair. “Nothing?”

I chuckled and set the guitar on the desk before making a move for him. I flattened his smaller body against mine breathing in his scent as I pushed him back on the mattress. Fuck, he smelled good. He smelled like home. I kissed him soundly before turning on my side to face him.

“What did you have in mind?”

“I’ll show you.” His hand went straight for my zipper but stopped suddenly.

“Don’t stop. Keep going.” I reached for his hand and placed it back over my semi-hard cock.

Aaron giggled as he palmed my dick through my pants. He kissed my chin and licked my lips before finally giving me the kiss I wanted. His tongue slid over mine sweetly as he arched his hips off the bed.

“Mmm. I want you. Clothes off.” I knew it wouldn’t take much to get me hard as a rock and reduced to short phrases and commands. I was so horny and geez, this was exactly what I needed after the day I’d had.

“Wait. I was going to tell you something.” Aaron didn’t stop gyrating in spite of insisting he had something to say. He unbuttoned the first few buttons of my shirt and bit at my stubbled chin before continuing. “We’re going to P Town… Memorial Day weekend…Jay, Peter. Okay?”

“Hmm. Sure. Your buttons are hard. You do them.” I sat up making quick work of my shirt and stood to shuck off my pants when I looked up and noticed he hadn’t moved. “What are you waiting for?”

“Are you okay going with them? They’re renting a beach house for the entire week. Peter’s fussy about it being in a quieter part of town so we’ll have to ride bikes to the action but that’s okay. Nothing’s too far anyway. It has two bedrooms and it’s on the water. They have the extra room and I thought you might be—”

“Aaron?”

“Yeah?”

“I am so hard it hurts. Yes to everything. It sounds… great. But you know what sounds better?”

“Me sucking your dick?” He smiled mischievously as he worked on his buttons and slid the fabric from his shoulders seductively.

I gulped audibly and nodded. “Yep.”

I couldn’t speak again if I tried. Aaron’s mouth was everywhere at once. Sucking, biting, kissing and licking his way down my torso till he stopped with his nose buried in my balls. I sat up to watch the action. He was in a playful mood. His perfect ass was high in the air and his chest was flat on the mattress. My instinct was to push him off of me, get behind him and bury myself inside my lover. I reached down to pull gently at his long dark hair.

“No teasing, babe.”

He grinned up at me and then swallowed me whole. My hips jutted off the bed at the sensation. It didn’t matter how often we did this or anything remotely sexual actually… the intensity never lessened. He made everything disappear but him. My day, my work…inconsequential. The only thing important was this. Us.

As I’d predicted, it didn’t take long till I was clutching at his head warning him I was going to come. He swallowed and licked me clean before allowing me to do the same for him.

“Fuck Matty. That was hot. We probably should have gone to our bed though. Now I have to wash—”

“I’ll help you. Our goal should be to have sex in every room and maybe on every surface while we live in this awesome condo. No worrying about sheet or comforters.”

Aaron giggled softly and burrowed into my side resting his head on my chest. “Good idea. So…”

“So… yes. But you know I would have been cool going with Peter and Jay, even without the blowjob. I like them.”

“Ha! I was not plying you with sex to go to P Town with them. I was just kind of excited and I wanted to tell you. I would have sucked you off anyway.”

I laughed and squeezed him closer kissing his temple. “Thanks.”

“No problem. I love you Matty.”

Damn. Hearing those three little words would never get old, I mused. I pushed at his shoulder so he’d look up me, then bent to kiss his forehead, his nose and his lips.

“I love you too.”

When I mentioned our vacation destination to my friend Curt, he laughed and told me he could not wait to hear about the trip when I returned.

“What is that supposed to mean? It’s a beach trip. If there’s something I need to know, tell me now.” I rolled my eyes though Curt couldn’t appreciate the gesture over the phone.

“It’s a beautiful area, there’s a ton to do. And it’s fabulous,” he said in a campy affected tone. “I haven’t been in a while, but I loved it. I’m just… nothing. Have fun and take pictures.”

It sounded a little cryptic, but I shrugged and figured I’d judge for myself. The idea of being with Aaron at the beach was enough to excite me.   I found myself looking forward to our long weekend away as the date neared.

We flew from Dulles Airport to Boston and then hopped on a ferry to Provincetown or P Town, as it was affectionately called. Flying to Boston rather than direct to Provincetown was ridiculously less expensive. Aaron rolled his eyes at my frugalness, but he went along with my planning. The ferry ride from Boston would take another ninety minutes. I had suggested we rent a car at first, but Aaron looked at me like I was nuts.

“Honey, dealing with Boston traffic after flying will make you cranky. Plus we’d have to deal with parking when we get there. No fun on any given weekend in P Town but definitely not over a major holiday! The ferry is probably the best option, if we can’t fly directly there.” I think I heard him mutter “cheapskate” under his breath. “Once we’re there we’ll ride bicycles everywhere. It will be great!”

It turned out I wasn’t much of a sailor. It never occurred to me I might get sea sick, but forty-five minutes into the ninety minute ride on the open ocean I had to admit maybe I was a landlubber. Aaron and I sat outside on the deck area. He looked like he’d stepped out of a men’s magazine advertising nautical casual attire in his long plaid Bermuda shorts and a snug fit polo shirt. The black Prada sunglasses didn’t hurt either. His dark hair blew around his face, caressing his cheeks. He looked really fucking sexy.   He was chatting away about a fussy passenger on our flight who wanted to talk ad nauseum about why airlines didn’t still serve peanuts to those of us who didn’t have a peanut allergy. I had tuned the disgruntled peanut lover out, but Aaron had been trapped in a tedious conversation and wanted to vent. His leaned over the railing with his hands either clasped together or moving a mile a minute. He turned at one point when I didn’t respond to his rapid-fire commentary and gave me a concerned look.

“Sweetie, are you okay? You look a little green.”

“What shade?” I joked lamely. Aaron put his hand over my forehead choosing to ignore my weak attempt at humor.

“Not a pretty one, unfortunately. I think you’re supposed to stay outdoors in the fresh air if you aren’t feeling well. Want me to find some ice chips or seltzer water?”

I didn’t want anything and above all, I didn’t want to speak.

“I’ll be okay. Just keep telling me stories. They make me feel better.”

Aaron cocked his head to the right, his hair blowing directly into his eyes, as he gazed at me thoughtfully.

“You say funny things, Matty. Do you ever get tired of me talking all the time?”

“Never.” I offered him a weak smile. “I only have one request. Please don’t ask me any questions. I can’t talk right now.”

He smiled back reassuringly and did as asked. He kept my mind on anything and everything except my queasy stomach. He talked about the houses visible in the distance and made up stories about who might live there. He talked about Boston. He’d been there a few times and was looking forward to going back to visit. He started to ask how much time we’d have before our flight home on Monday, but remembered my request not to speak and deftly switched over to his observations of our fellow ferry mates.

“They are such a hot couple. Three o’clock, Matty.” to “Why is he wearing that? Really.”

I made sure I was one of the first off the boat. I made a beeline to the bathroom stalls closest to the exit once we’d docked and lost whatever was left in my stomach from breakfast. Ugh! Aaron was right. We should have flown. Screw the money. I rinsed my mouth as best I could and went outside to find him. He was standing outside with both of our bags at his feet, looking very worried.

“Are you okay, honey?”

I nodded and picked up the bags. Now that we were back on terra firma I was more than a little embarrassed.

“I’m sorry. I had no idea I’d get seasick. I’ve never been on a boat in the ocean.”

“Really? How did you avoid boats all this time? I mean, I wouldn’t call myself a mariner type by any stretch although I do like sem…”

“Don’t say it.”

“You’re right. Too easy. But seriously, you never went boating? Sailboat? Motorboat? Rowboat?” I followed Aaron as he led the way toward a taxi line.

“I’m from Pittsburgh, Aaron. We have lakes in Pennsylvania. We’re not even close to the ocean. Let’s not talk about boats anymore. Please? I’m still not one hundred percent.”

“You look mighty fine to me, handsome!” A campy effeminate older gentleman eyed me like a piece of prime meat, before winking at me and turning with dramatic flair in his bright red topsiders.

My expression must have given away my dismay. Aaron burst out laughing.

“Sweetheart. Welcome to Oz. Well, my version of gay Oz. Everywhere you go in this fair town you will be surrounded by rainbow love.” He blinked his eyes rapidly and donned a dreamy smile. I figured half of it was for show, but I also realized that he seemed the slightest bit more at ease suddenly, as though the walls and guards reserved for the public were slowly disappearing.

Interesting.
