The Right Words is Coming Soon! Check out this Pretty Cover…

The Right Words is officially available for Pre-Order here at Dreamspinner Press! The release date is December 12.  One month away!  My new series is called Right and Wrong.  It takes place close to my home in Southern California.  So yes, we’re making a cross country move from DC to West Hollywood, which means the weather is fabulous and the setting is truly beautiful.  This photo is of the actual beach near Michael’s home in Corona del Mar.  Amazing, right?

The theme of conquering demons is one of my favorites.  Everyone comes with a past.  We are shaped in part by where we come from and how we perceive our place in a traditional society.  But some traditions and perceptions are hopelessly outdated and condone inequality.  Religion and sports are two perfect examples.  And yes, both feature prominently in The Right Words, along with literature and poetry.  Because sometimes it takes great strength to find your voice and… the right words.

Here’s a tiny background: Luke is an interior designer who recently escaped an abusive ex.  He is anxious to rebuild his life in a new setting.  A job working for a professional athlete and his fiancee sounds like a great place to start.  But alas… nothing is as it seems.  Michael has issues of his own.  The least of which may be a career threatening injury.
